It’s Time For Something Different

What got you to this point in your career isn’t what will take you to the next level. (Don’t worry, that’s the exciting part.)

We work with women social impact leaders through 1:1 and group coaching experiences, collaborating and guiding them through their careers.

A Champion For Impact-First Leaders

Generally speaking, women are more collaborative, more communicative, and more human-centric in their approach. They bring exceptional emotional agility to their roles, and above all, they’re particularly driven by purpose.*

These are my people.

*An Important Disclaimer

If we are going to uplift women social impact leaders, we must be inclusive in the community we’re creating. We are proud to support all people who have been historically marginalized based on their gender.

And ultimately, if we’re going to create purpose-driven change together, we must invite all to the table—including talented, values-aligned men who help lead social impact organizations, too. If you believe in social impact, you are our people.

When you choose one-on-one leadership coaching with me, you’re committing to your professional (and personal) development. Together, we’ll define, expand upon, and deepen your professional skillset. But we’ll do more than that, too. We’ll go deeper into the why behind your career journey—what motivates you, challenges you, and drives you forward every day. We’ll prioritize your purpose together, and we’ll work hand-in-hand to help you choose and pursue that purpose every day.

Group Coaching

When you choose group coaching with me, you are committing not only to yourself, but to a dynamic, curious, ambitious group of social impact leaders who are also craving greater clarity of purpose and the resources they need to shape and work toward change. Through a thoughtful blend of intimate group dynamics and one-on-one support, I’ll coordinate with you and your cohort to facilitate individual and shared growth.

The Right Alignment with the Right People

We’re looking for a few qualities when we decide on a great fit. If these things sound like you, then we’re off to the races.

You’re Ready to Get Messy

You’re ready to tell it like it is. Coaching only works if you’re able to be honest with yourself about the real problems you’re facing.

You’re Open-Minded

You are willing to try new things, see a different point of view, and learn from others. Curiosity is our friend here.

You’re Committed to Change

You’re here for lasting, long-term, sustainable growth. That might mean mindset shits and new skills that irreversibly evolve the way you lead.

You’re Willing to Take Responsibility

You’re ready to tell it like it is. Coaching only works if you’re able to be honest with yourself about the real problems you’re facing.

Just as Important as the Right Fit? The Wrong One…

These are a few flags we look out for—things that might mean ABF Coaching isn’t the right partner—or maybe that you’re just not quite ready… yet.*

*Don’t worry: If you see yourself in this list, we are more than happy to recommend other trusted coaches and resources in our network.

This isn’t your focus. You’re not ready to be consistent with coaching, or you’re always going to be deprioritizing it for other things. We get it. Life is busy. But prioritization is queen here—and you deserve to prioritize yourself.

Your not open to co-creation. You prefer a more rigid or strict model. Each client we work with is at a different moment in their journey, and we stay centered on that path—your purpose—to guide how we approach your coaching experience.

You’re only Focused on SMART Goals. SMART goals are for performance reviews. We do set goals together, but they’re more about compass setting and leaving enough time and space to move toward outcomes in an intentional and sustainable way.

You’re Comfortable. You’re cool with the status quo. If you aren’t open to reimagining how to create work environments and culture that supports everyone’s innate humanness, then we’re probably not a fit.

You have a Deadline. You’re using coaching to get a promotion in a certain timeline. We celebrate you! But we’re not focused on time-bound work—because your professional path is a journey, with plenty of unknowns along the way.

The Power of Partnership

I’m not your HR manager.

And I’m not the superhero you send in when you don’t want to have a difficult conversation.

But I am your collaborator, your confidante, and your multiplier.

FAQs

  • If you’re looking for personalized attention, deep dives into your own reflections on leadership, and specific strategies tailored to you, then 1:1 coaching is the way to go.

If you’re looking for community, enjoy learning from others, and appreciate diverse perspectives, group coaching offers the added benefit of peer support and shared experiences.

Both options support transformative growth, so it’s about what resonates most with you now.

  • There are many tangible and intangible outcomes from coaching. Here are a few I take super seriously:

✔️ Clarity on purpose and priorities for this moment in time

    ✔️ Stronger confidence in decision-making

    ✔️ Improved relationships at work

✔️ More confidence in how you’re showing up as a leader

✔️ Sense of empowerment with handling challenging situations

✔️ Tangible shifts in how you’re lead yourself and others

  • No. Leadership is about more than managing people, and it shows up in many forms.

  • Absolutely. Your privacy is a priority and everything shared in our coaching sessions remains confidential. This ensures you can speak freely and explore sensitive topics without worry.

I adhere to the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics

There are a few reasonable (and rare) exceptions to confidentiality:

    • If client information is helpful to reinforcing my credentials or practices (I’ll always ask permission first in these instances)

    • If information I obtain is required by law to disclose, or if your situation involves illegal or criminal activity

    • If you express intent to harm yourself or others, in which case I’m ethically obligated to take action

  • Yes! Many companies and nonprofits recognize the value of leadership coaching and are willing to sponsor it as part of professional development benefits. You can talk to your HR department or manager about receiving support for coaching or leadership training programs. I’m happy to provide the documentation needed and/or talk through strategies for how to approach your employer about this.

  • Please still reach out. I’ve been intentional about my offers and prices to make coaching accessible to social impact leaders (I was once an underpaid nonprofit employee myself). I offer scholarship opportunities each year—apply here

And if we can’t work together, I will do my best to connect you with other coaches who can support you.

  • For all new clients, I offer a 4-month coaching package, including an onboarding call and biweekly sessions. I have found from experience that 4 months is the sweet spot for an initial engagement to allow enough for a deep dive into goals and setting some actions.

Following our initial engagement, I offer monthly one- or two-session coaching offers for returning clients. During our initial consultation, we can discuss what feels right for you and create a custom plan based on your needs.

Coaching Is For Everyone

We hope to serve all women social impact leaders. So we’re thrilled to offer select coaching scholarship opportunities for underserved individuals and values-aligned organizations. If you’re interested in coaching with me but have a limited budget, please submit your application to be considered.
